SRM GPA Calculator is a free, independent online tool created by a team of SRM University alumni and current students to help fellow students accurately calculate their GPA and CGPA. We understand that tracking academic performance is crucial for placements, scholarships, and higher education applications — and we wanted to make that process simple, fast, and completely free.
What started as a small personal project has now grown into a trusted resource used by over 2 million SRM students across all campuses — KTR, Ramapuram, Vadapalani, Delhi-NCR, and Amaravati.
Our mission is simple: provide SRM University students with a 100% accurate, easy-to-use, and completely private GPA calculator — at zero cost. We believe that academic tools should be accessible to everyone, without hidden fees, data collection, or complicated interfaces.
During our time at SRM, we noticed that many students struggled with manually calculating their GPA using the weighted average formula. Some relied on inaccurate online calculators or complex spreadsheets. Others simply guessed their standing. We knew there had to be a better way — so we built one.
Our calculator uses the official SRM University grading formula (as per the 2018 and 2021 regulations) and performs all calculations locally in your browser. This means:
Unlike many online tools that collect and sell your data, we take privacy seriously. We do not store any grades, calculations, or personal information. All GPA and CGPA calculations happen entirely in your browser using JavaScript. When you close the tab, everything disappears — by design.
